As we begin a new year, we believe the Lord has called us to a time of prayer and fasting. The Lord gives direction on ways we hear from Him, one of those ways being through prayer. We encourage you to pick up one of the prayer pamphlets that include daily devotionals to walk you through these very important days. Set aside time in your daily schedule and remember, fasting can be anything that the Lord shows you takes away time from your relationship with Him. Spend the next few weeks to prepare and ask the Lord to show you anything in your life you could set aside during this time. 

"17 But when you fast, put oil on your head and wash your face, 18 so that it will not be obvious to others that you are fasting, but only to your Father, who is unseen; and your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you." Matthew 6:17-18
